Where Is My Kid Limitations

Where Is My Kid is an application to help people track the location of other family members and friends.  It uses GPS information to track location and stores the information in a database for access by other authorized family and friends.  

Where Is My Kid was designed for Apple iOS 4.x and iPhone 3GS and later devices.  While it can operate in earlier versions of hardware, like the iPhone 3G model, not all features work exactly the same with older iPhone hardware.

Where Is My Kid depends on some background processing which is available on iPhone 3GS and later hardware.  These features are not available on iPhone 3G and earlier devices.

For iPhone 3G and earlier devices supporting iOS 4.x, these limitations will apply:

            1. All functions work correctly when Where Is My Kid is in the foreground (meaning it is the application you see on the screen).  As soon as the home button is pressed (round button at bottom center of iPhone), the application goes to the background and all processing stops.
